Byron Jackson-Chief Meteorologist/Owner
Byron Jackson started studying weather at age 6. He started his meteorology career spans nearly 21 years starting December 1998, when he was assigned his first duty station at one of the premier weather centers in the Navy. Byron has produced forecasts, briefed military pilots, recorded weather observations the Virginia to Louisiana, as well as the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, Mediterranean Sea, Red Sea, and Persian Gulf. Upon getting out of the Navy in 2005, Byron went on to forecast for such websites as NEMAS (now defunct) and Examiner.com, where he was the Indianapolis, Norfolk, Seattle, and Vancouver Weather Examiner. He has also produced and wrote forecasts for the Muncie Free Press, and continues to do so for the Pendleton-Gazette(recently celebrated 7 years with them). Byron is married with three sons, one step-daughter, and lives in the Everett/Mill Creek area.
